:: first grade ::

I will have to be frank and upfront, this was not one of our better batting performances.. To be fair, the wicket hadn’t had enough preparation time due to the amount of rain the coast received during the week.. this meant the outfield was a lot slower and balls that last week made it to the boundary would pull up short…

having said this, we still didn’t value our wicket.. once again batsman got a start, but didn’t go on with it, and the partnerships were non-existent… Top score of the day was highly credentialed number 10, Jason I only use BDM Roberts with 31no… Mr BDM, showed poise, and strength, to play out the good balls and to smash the bad ones.. next was darts Geraghty with a well compiled 27, before being given out LBW (i will leave it at that).. Handles Stein also chipped in with a solid 24..

two more games to go before the end of the season… i know the effort we are capable of, and if we can play to 1/2 of our potential then i know that we can win the last two games… come on guys lets do it for pride, lets do it to show the comp who we are, and most of all lets do it so we don’t win the wooden spoon…
