1st grade : Vs Loganholme Cobras @ Newstead Park
LV – 125; LHC 9/244 (1st Innings Win)
2nd grade : Vs Loganholme Cobras @ Tansey Park
LV – 128, 8/108; LHC – 217 (1st Innings Win)

:: first grade ::
starting day two on 2 for 42, the Cobra’s ground their way to a first innings win.. scoring was very slow, with only 190 runs scored on the day..

“Handles” Stein was the stand out bowler, with a great 5 wicket haul.. it must be said, on such a great batting wicket all of the Kookaburras bowlers stood proud.. they bowled to a plan, outside off… special mention must also go to “Big Wil” Davis, “Fingers” Sutcliffe, & “Groins” Clarke..

the Cobra’s were too good on the day, but one would think they need to do bit more than that to win a premiership…

once again we showed, great resolve in put in a great effort in the field… the wicket was an absolute belter (thanks mushie), and the opposition could barely score at 2.5 per over… as Gus said, we need to keep our heads up, and bat selfish, and the wins will come…
