Phil Philbert Bourke’s well timed 83 on the weekend helped the Village 1st grade side post its 3rd win of the season…
Unfortunately the 1st grade side is not in contention for the 2008 Gabba Sporting Products Cup, but Phil put in a fantastic batting performance… despite the heat, Phil batted for almost 3 hours and faced 160 balls.. He stroked the ball to all parts of the CHI oval, showing great patience and timing…
We have one more game this next coming fortnight against the fast finishing Alberton, who have made their way into the top four… With the form Phil takes into the game, and the 1st grade bowling stocks we have a good chance to knock these guys off… Go the Kookas
