new club coach announced

After an extensive search, the board at Logan Village Cricket Club have selected a new coach Aaron Nye..

Aaron is a Queensland Bulls contracted player, and will be a must needed boost as Logan Village look to move their 1st & 2nd grade teams up the Gabba Sporting Products ladder..

Asked  his thoughts on the selection Aaron said “I am very pleased that I have been asked to coach of the Logan Village Cricket Club, when club President Gary Musch approached me I was excited to be part of a club with such a long history and also a club which is looking to better there on field results.

I see this a chance for me to put something back into the game that has served me so well, I have had some great experiences playing cricket for the Qld Bulls at 1^st class level, but this gives me a chance to help younger players to reach their full potential. I look forward to working with all the players from the juniors all the way up to the 1^st grade team, I am hopeful that my advice and experience will be able to assist the Kookaburras back up the ladder for the 2008/2009 season ahead”
