Hello Logan Village Cricket Club Members,

We would like to invite all junior players in Queensland, turning 14 to 18 in 2012, the opportunity to be involved in our junior cricket tour the West Indies and the United States during June/July 2012.

The tour will comprise of a squad of two teams, 26 players in total, playing 8 games in 2 and 1/2 weeks in the Caribbean and California. This will be our 10th international cricket tour in 15 years, and we have been touring the world since 1997.

The tour will first travel to Barbados and play against top local junior club, school and representative teams, before finishing off with a stopover in Los Angeles on the return… where we will play against representative teams from the United States. We will play 8 matches in total over 18 days. The departure date for the tour is June 22nd , 2012.

The tour will be paid off via a series of instalments between now and May 2012 to make the tour affordable.

The tours will be led by experienced coaches and managers, all of whom are teachers who have level 2 or 3 coaching accreditations, and will closely supervise the players throughout the tour. All three have previously led the tour to the Caribbean in 2011 and 2007.

We already have players on board from across Australia, and in most cases, the boys are the only individual from their area participating. Places will be filled on a first come first in basis and all players will play equal match time. ALL levels of cricket are encouraged to register.

Some of the highlights of the tour besides cricket…. include trips to Universal Studios and Hollywood, Disneyland, attending a Major League Baseball game in LA, touring Bridgetown and the Kensington Oval……and the stunning beaches of Barbados.
