Training is moving from Thursday night to Wednesday night effective 23/09/2009.

So next week will still be a Thursday night (17/09/2009)
Following week, and there after will be Wednesday night (23/09/2009)

LVCC junior cricket

The Logan Village Kookaburras are currently running two junior cricket programs in the local Beenleigh Logan Cricket Association Competition, an under 10′steam and a ‘Have a go’ for kids ranging in age from 4 to 9.

There have been 3 games so far this season (2007/08) and all teams are showing great improvement, with great support from Paul & Dave Walton (senior Kookaburra players) this group are the future of cricket at the Logan Village Kookaburras. Thanks to the support of Milo we also run the Have a Go program, and currently have approx 20 kids running around each week.. Wow there is some talent there to.

An important part of playing cricket is practice, and the junior teams practice each Thursday.

first training night 2007/08

we had a great attendance for the first training session of the season.. training started at 5pm sharp, with the Wolton boys arriving on time and beers in hand, this can only mean one thing, a cracker of a season on the field, and a lot of cans for muschy to collect..

remember to check back for this seasons draw, training every thursday night (5 to 7:30pm), and as the great “Don Bradman” always said ‘Be good or be good at it’..

This Saturday (25.08) is our first sign-on day of the 2007/08 season and it’s also our first unofficial training session. Sign-on begins around lunch time (12:00pm), so bring your gear and roll your arm over, as we begin another season of cricket.

First official pre-season training will commence Thursday 30.08, with a light fielding session, and a net session.

Official training dates and times will be posted shortly.
